Q: Is MOTHER: Nexus a official new entry to the MOTHER Franchise?

A: Nope, MOTHER: Nexus isn't official, nor canon to the original series by Itoi;

Q: What engine is the game being made on?

A: Currently, we are using RPG Maker VX Ace, but we have a high probability of changing engines in the future.

Q: Are you afraid of DMCA takedowns by Nintendo?

A: Not really, Nintendo doesn't fully own the rights to the Mother series, Itoi does, and so far hes be pretty chill with fangames, also this;

Q: When is it releasing?

A: Sometime before the end of the world

Q: What platforms will it release on?

A: Windows, Linux and technically mobile;

Q: Wich Mechanics will be returning?

A: In terms of overworld, MOTHER 3 running and telepathy will return, as in battles, the rolling odometer will return, and the sound battle system will recieve a overhaul;

Q: Are you using the "Earthbound Essentials Engine"?

A: Nope! we originally made the engine from semi-scratch, but with news of a new Earthbound engine by the title of Oak we are planning on changing to it eventually;

Q: Wich characters will be returning?

A: Enemies like "Ramblin' Evil Mushroom" and the Mr. Saturns are confirmed to return, as for other cases, we would like to keep it a secret :) ;

Q: Will the game be chapter based?

A: Yes, the game will have 8 chapters, counting the prologue and epilogue.
